From the North (Hickory/Morganton) Highway 18 South to Shelby. Pass Cleveland Regional Medical Center on right. Turn left at 2nd stop light on to Lafayette St. (Still 18 South) Go to first stop light and turn right on W. Sumter St. City Park is approx. 1 mile on right.
From the South (Gaffney): Highway 18 North to Shelby. Pass Wendy's on the right. Now go to 5th stop light and turn left on W. Sumter St. City Park is approx. 1 mile on right. From the East (Charlotte/Gastonia) Take Highway 74 West at Kings Mountain. Go approx. 12 miles to Shelby. Get in right lane at Burger King and exit right just pass Arby's. Go to stop light at Wendy's. Turn right on Lafayette St. (Highway 18 North). Go to 5th stop light and turn left on West Sumter St. Go Approx. 1 mile and City Park is on the right. From the West (Asheville/Tryon) Highway 74 East to Shelby. Pass Ingles Supermarket on left. Get in left lane and cross Broad River. Immediately take first left exit. Go to 2nd street on the left and turn left. City Park is straight ahead. |
