This handbook is a wealth of information.
A lot of which was collected from swim parents themselves. It answers many if not all, your questions about participation in competitive swimming.
It includes information on what exactly your child can expect to learn and accomplish by swimming for the "Sharks".
After a brief welcome, it begins with some swim basics like what equipment your swimmer(s) will need and what to bring to a swim meet.
Next is a section about swimmer and parents responsibilities, when your swimmer(s) will be ready for competition, and detailed descriptions of the swim strokes.
We've included information on what exactly a swim meet is, and how it is officiated.
To give you a better understanding of how our team is managed, we've included details about our club objectives and how it is structured, it's governing bodies,
and your financial responsibilities as a parent, to the club. We've also included a most useful glossary of swimming terms which
